Economics for kids

“Economics for kids” is series of children’s stories about financial literacy.

We start project with three stories!

Next stage of project includes two seasons of financial fairy tales (each season includes three stories). The content levels of the stories are developing according to the reader’s age.

We aim to inspire kids to ask more questions and to create right impression regarding Economics.

After the full implementation of the project the children will receive necessary knowledge about the basics of Economics, which will increase their motivation during decision making processes. Also, it will help to make innovative studyingenvironment and make this processmore enjoyable.

First season of project “Economics for kids” includes three stories, gradually covering the stages of economic development of humanity: natural exchange, natural farming, money creation, manufacturing, deficit, money exchange, inflation, constitution, ecology, fire safety, etc. At every stage, children get introduced to new economic terms that are explained by the end of the edition in the simpler language for them to understand better. Overall, first season will provide explanations about 50 economic terms and affairs.

We believe, that the subject of the project is relevant and at the same time, it reflects those directions regarding introduction of “financial literacy”. Implementation of civic thinking and financial literacy will serve as the component of practical purpose, as developing such important skills will allow kids to prepare for future education and work environment.

We believe, that implementation of this project children will develop correct civic thinking and will receive sufficient knowledge and information about the Basics of the Economics.
